Thinking

about ditching my net connection.......

I must be

stuck in a revolving door, I keep going round and round as people walk in and out at will.

I am starting to think

that you shouldn't tell people you care, just incase it is read the wrong way.

Thunderous clouds

rolled back in for a bit, but a little light that came on, time to shut the doors and remove myself from the outside world.

I often wonder

why I bother when all I get from it is a reminder that I am not worth it and a guilt about feeling let down. There has to come a point where enough is enough...... but is let down and not being worthy better than simply nothing, when nothing might as well mean nonexistance.

Sometimes the best things

flicker .... threatening to go out then regaining light and grow strong. There comes a point where before you know it they are gone....

It doesn't take long

for the footprints we leave behind to be washed away.

Something

that is a simple pleasure can easily turn into a dependency, an addiction.

It really is

quite a selfish thing to have expectations of others.

Let's hope

that a new day really is a chance to start over.

How do

you decide when enough is enough and release the grip on something you hold dear?

Wonder if

the fog lifts for long enough to let you take comfort in a glimpse of the big picture.

The packaging

only matters to those who haven't taken the time to peek inside at the real gift.

I guess

at the end of the day everyone stands alone, just for some that happens a little earlier than normal.

If

you don't know where you stand with things how can you know which direction to take a step?

Looking out

at the world and everything seems possible, until you get to the streets and are caught in an endless maze of gridlock and dead ends.

Thoughts

are like roundabouts......... they do nothing but make you dizzy. Once you are in a spin it is so hard to get off.

Is there

any truth in the saying "it's what is inside that counts"? It seems to me that it is something that is said often but I wonder if it is meant.

What is it worth

if, when the sun sets it hasn't been shared

There is

absolutely no point peddling hard when the brakes are stuck.

A little

colour in your day can make the world of difference.

It doesn't

take much to revel in a bit of blue sky and have the storm clouds roll right back in. Often because you started driving towards them because your eyes were firmly in the review mirror as you tried to outrun the last one.

There is something

about the darkness early in a morning that is rather comforting. Such a pity that the days don't stay that way.

When things are tough

people say to focus on the pleasure within simple things. That it is the people you share your life with and the goodness in your heart that counts. So how is it that people who know and live that the best that they can still end up with lives that are so very empty?

Just

posting and playing games in an attempt to delude that there is a fulfilled life somewhere beyond the keyboard. How long can you wait for the hours to go away......... how much earlier can you go to bed to make the day end quicker.

You Know....

When people say to me that they haven't seen or spoken to anyone they mean 'I haven't seen or spoken to any of the people that I know that you do too.......' When I say I haven't seen or spoken to anyone I mean 'I haven't laid eyes on or opened my mouth and said a word to another human being at all......'

A very common scenario in my life.

Isn't

it a pity that you can't make a U-turn as you travel along the road of life. It would be so nice to be able to go back and take a different direction instead.

Somedays

I am so completely unsure of everything. No idea where to begin or what to head towards.
