A little

colour in your day can make the world of difference.

It doesn't

take much to revel in a bit of blue sky and have the storm clouds roll right back in. Often because you started driving towards them because your eyes were firmly in the review mirror as you tried to outrun the last one.

There is something

about the darkness early in a morning that is rather comforting. Such a pity that the days don't stay that way.

When things are tough

people say to focus on the pleasure within simple things. That it is the people you share your life with and the goodness in your heart that counts. So how is it that people who know and live that the best that they can still end up with lives that are so very empty?

Just

posting and playing games in an attempt to delude that there is a fulfilled life somewhere beyond the keyboard. How long can you wait for the hours to go away......... how much earlier can you go to bed to make the day end quicker.

You Know....

When people say to me that they haven't seen or spoken to anyone they mean 'I haven't seen or spoken to any of the people that I know that you do too.......' When I say I haven't seen or spoken to anyone I mean 'I haven't laid eyes on or opened my mouth and said a word to another human being at all......'

A very common scenario in my life.

Isn't

it a pity that you can't make a U-turn as you travel along the road of life. It would be so nice to be able to go back and take a different direction instead.
